Privacy policy

Applies to naseeb.dk and the mailing list. Version 2026-10-06. If the Danish and English versions differ, the Danish version applies.

Who is the data controller

Naseeb is being built. Until the organisation that will run the platform has been set up, the data controller is:

If the mailing list is later handed over to that organisation, you will be told by email beforehand, so that you can unsubscribe first.

What we process

When you sign up for the mailing list, we store:

• your email address
• the language you signed up in
• the time you signed up and the time you confirmed
• which version of the consent text you agreed to

We do not store your IP address with your sign-up. To protect the form against abuse, we keep a code calculated from your IP address for at most 20 minutes. The code is not stored with your email address and is deleted automatically.

The site uses no cookies, no analytics tools and no third-party content.

Our web host keeps ordinary server logs, which can contain the IP address and time of a visit. They are used only for operations and security.

What we use it for

We use your email address only to tell you when Naseeb opens and to send news about the platform. We do not use it for anything else.

Legal basis

We process your email address on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation and section 10 of the Danish Marketing Practices Act).

Naseeb is for Shia Muslims. A sign-up can therefore say something about your religious beliefs, which is sensitive information. We process it only because you have explicitly agreed (Article 9(2)(a)).

You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew it.

How long we keep it

• If you do not confirm your sign-up with the link in the email, we delete your email address after 7 days.
• If you are subscribed, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, and at the latest 12 months after Naseeb has opened.
• When you unsubscribe, we delete your email address immediately.

Who receives it

We do not pass your email address on to anyone. It is stored with our web host, Simply.com A/S in Denmark, which is our data processor and may process the information only on our instructions. The information is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.

How we protect it

The connection to the site is encrypted. The list is kept outside the publicly accessible part of the web host, and only the data controller has access to it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• see the information we hold about you
• have incorrect information corrected
• have your information deleted
• have the processing restricted
• receive your information (data portability)
• withdraw your consent

You unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any email from us, or by writing to kontakt@naseeb.dk. We reply as soon as possible and within one month at the latest.

Complaints

You can complain about our processing of your information to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk.

Age

The mailing list is for people aged 18 or over.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will write to you before the change takes effect. The version date is at the top of the page.
